Indie pop musician Kate Eberstadt is in a fight with reality, and she intends to win. She’s been through a breakup. Someone she loves is gone. She keeps dreaming about an empty revolving door. And now she’s gotten really into quantum entanglement—enough to think she understands it, enough to try it.
Part physics experiment, part pop concert, WHERE WE MEET is a big-hearted, electrifying experience that asks how we can reach the people we’ve lost, and whether a song could be enough to do it.

Kate Eberstadt is a composer, writer, performer, singer-songwriter, and 2026 Princess Grace Award winner. Her show Where We Meet was commissioned by Ars Nova and developed through Makers Lab, supported by the NAMT Frank Young Fund, the cell theatre, and Upper Jay Arts Center, and finalist for the Richard Rodgers Award. In 2025, she released her debut album Heaven on Earth, an existential pop odyssey that premiered live at Joe’s Pub. Her music has been hailed by Billboard as “sly, slinky, and irresistible” and featured by AP, Entertainment Tonight, the New York Post, and E! News. Eberstadt is a resident artist at Project 14C, an inaugural Toulmin Creator at NYU’s Center for Ballet and the Arts/National Sawdust, and 2026 Arts for All Artist-in-Residence at the University of Maryland, where she teaches “Quantum Physics and Art.” Past residencies include The Watermill Center, Good Hart, and the American Academy in Berlin. www.kateeberstadt.com
Molly Rose Heller is a SoCal born (sun-fearing) Jew and NYC-based theatre artist drawn to staging the impossible. In 2026, she received a NYSCA Support For Artists Grant for her adaptation of Medea with hamsters, and a Mercury Store Residency for her piece displaying her scrolling addiction using exclusively live actors and zero tech. She’s been a Resident Artist at Ars Nova, the cell theater, and Upper Jay Arts Center; a Visiting Director at Columbia University School of the Arts; an alum of Directors Lab North and SDCF Observership Program. She directed and developed work at Ars Nova, Joe’s Pub, SoHo Playhouse, Watermill Center, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and more. She’s associate or assistant directed at The New Group, Second Stage, BEDLAM, and Mabou Mines. She’s featured in NY Jewish Week’s “36 to Watch” List, honoring remarkable Jewish innovators. This show is wheelchair accessible. If you wish or need to remain in your wheelchair throughout the show, our staff will remove the theater chair. Licensed service animals (any dogs that are trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities) are welcome. They must rest in your seating area throughout the performance and are unable to occupy the aisle. Please bring proof of certification or a license for your service animal and be prepared to present it to the House Manager upon request. Our bathrooms are single-stalled, all-gender restrooms – everyone is welcome to use any bathroom of their choice. We have two single-person restrooms in the lobby; with the wheelchair accessible option located right outside the theater on the first floor (doors 7 feet 10 inches x 3 feet 10.5 inches).
We have space that can be made to offer privacy for feeding should you need at any time. See the House Manager onsite and they will arrange a comfortable space, with storage and refrigeration for your materials.
The audience seating locations are located in the theater.
The seating is a combination of chairs, stools, and benches. Brown bentwood chairs: 16″ diameter seat x 35″ high. Tall gold stools: 16.5″ wide x 18″ deep x 30″ high. Custom benches: 22″ deep.
The doors for entry into the building are 7 feet 10.5 inches x 3 feet 7 inches (external) and 7 feet 10 inches x 3 feet 10.5 inches (internal).
Box Office height is 3 feet 6 inches and the Bar height is 3 feet 8.5 inches.
We are committed to making our performances accessible and enjoyable for all members of our community. On Tuesday June 9th at 7:30pm, we’re offering an ASL-interpreted performance of And Then The Rodeo Burned Down in partnership with Inclusive Communication Services (https://inclusiveasl.com/) designed to welcome Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons with American Sign Language interpretation.
During the ASL-interpreted performance, professional ASL interpreters will be positioned in clear view of the stage, delivering an engaging interpretation of the show’s dialogue so Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons can immerse themselves fully in the performance.
