Flanked by collaborators Daniel Weidlein and Ryan Amador, both survivors of her bullying in the writer’s room, ALONE is a concert celebrating the architecture of a song, delving into the beautiful complexity of music’s composition, creation, and impact.

Divya Maus is an award-winning musician whose work spans the worlds of musical theatre, pop, and choral music. Her work as a composer includes the musical THE MOLLYHOUSE (book & lyrics by Richard Hanson), the choral suites RAIN CYCLE and ASCENT, film musical ELIJAH, and the dance fantasia THE SHADOW. In addition to opening for the Beach Boys in 2014, Divya has backed up artists including Rozzi Crane and Scott Hoying, and was an original cast member of Heather Christian’s ORATORIO FOR LIVING THINGS off-Broadway.
Ryan Amador is a music, theater, and film artist based in Los Angeles. Ryan’s theater credits include an original adaptation of William Golding’s “Lord of the Flies” performed on a Manhattan rooftop (director/devisor), the premiere of “Mouthy Bitch” at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival (director), “5 Stories About Stage That Are Simply Untrue” with JA Collective at The Odyssey Theater in L.A. (director/devisor), and a new vision of Brecht/Weill’s “7 Deadly Sins” produced by Jukebox Castle in collaboration with 14 New Orleans-based chefs (director).
Daniel Weidlein is an award-winning music director and multi-hyphenate musician. He operates the boutique recording studio, BioSoul Music, in Los Angeles, CA and writes and produces music for a wide variety of artists including Miss Peppermint, Blake McGrath, PERTA, Ryan Amador, Luke Edgemon, and many more. Outside of traditional theater settings, Daniel has music directed for artists such as MORGXN, Julie Craig, collaborated with the team of HADESTOWN on their holiday album, and conducted the Budapest Recording Orchestra.
