PAUL LOFFERON is a Paris and London-based director and actor. He began his career in the arts at 18, studying acrobatics at the Circus Arts School of Piste d’Azur in Cannes. During this time he helped create and perform in numerous shows. Upon returning to Paris, he decided to pursue theater and studied acting for one year at Cours Florent before two years of further study at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. During this time, he joined the company Theatre de la Feuille, directed by Ata Wong Chun Tat. In September of 2018, the company toured its show Madman in several cities throughout China, including appearing in the Beijing International Fringe Festival. Most recently, he joined a research group led by Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne around the show The Man Who at Les Bouffes du Nord. He is also currently involved in developing FREUDE! by Jérome Chevalier at La Scala in Paris. Paul is a co-artistic director and founding member of Voloz Collective.

SAM RAYNER is a theater-maker and movement director, based in London and Paris. His work has been described as ‘intensely funny’ (The Guardian), ‘fearless’ (The List) and ‘innovative’ (The Prickle). Sam has created work for Netflix and internationally renowned venues — including the O2 Arena, Wembley Arena and the Hammersmith Apollo. He has collaborated with comedians including Jack Whitehall, Jordan Brookes and Adam Riches to devise movement for stand-up and theatrical comedies. Sam co-founded Unleash the Llama, a company that creates genre-fusing comedies, and he directs for the New Renaissance Collective, staging highly-physical adaptations of classical texts and opera in site-specific locations including Beaten Gold at the church of St Bartholomew-the-Great, Barbican and Venus & Adonis (‘totally captivating’, The Prickle) at London’s Bussey Building. As an assistant/associate director, Sam’s work includes Broken Wings (Theatre Royal Haymarket, West End/International Tour); The Adventures of Pinocchio (Ambassadors Theatre, West End) and Umm Kulthum and the Golden Era (London Palladium, West End). Sam trained at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. He is a co-artistic director of Voloz Collective.

EMILY WHEATMAN is a London and Paris-based actor and theater-maker, specializing in comedy and physical theater. A graduate of L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Emily’s previous work includes: devising and performing in Manic Chord Theatre’s 5* show Don’t Let Go; devising and performing in La Poussière at La Factorie in Normandy; and writing and performing with the Leeds Tealights for a year — culminating in their award-winning Edinburgh sketch-comedy show in 2015. Her comedy work has been described as ‘energetic and clever humour’ (EdFringe Review) and she received a special mention in the 2020 Mandy Comedy Competition for ‘oddball humour’. Emily is a co-artistic director and founding member of Voloz Collective.

OLIVIA ZERPHY is a Paris, New York and London-based director and actor, and proud former Ars Nova Artistic Intern. She recently worked with Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Etienne on research surrounding their show The Man Who at Bouffes du Nord Theatre. She is also collaborating in devising and performing Maman: Source, Origine, Cause, a new work opening at Point Du Jour in Paris next fall (Director Marta Tkachuk). As a director, Olivia’s work has most recently been seen at La Factorie in Normandy, where she directed La Poussière, an original bi-lingual adaptation of The Grapes of Wrath. A recipient of the Molly Thatcher Kazan Award for Excellence in Theatre for her direction of Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal at Vassar College, she also spent time at the Moscow Art Theatre School where she was directed by Sergei Zemstov in Three Sisters (role of Masha) and spent two years in Paris training at L’École internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. Olivia is a co-artistic director and founding member of Voloz Collective.
