Submit Work.

New work for the stage isn’t always created around a table. Ars Nova has a number of programs and performance series designed to provide opportunities for artists to see their work in front of an audience throughout the stages of a development process. More information is below, with links to submission details when applicable.

The Ars Nova artistic team is always out seeing new work. Please feel free to send us an invitation at artistic@arsnovanyc.com. Information about how to submit to our various programs can be found below. Due to the volume of submissions we receive, it may take us up to six months to respond.

Ars Nova Flings

The Ars Nova Fling program is Ars Nova’s unique way of interacting with producers and artists who have a project that falls outside our mission or interests, but want more than just a “four-wall” rental of our theater and green room. It’s geared towards multi-week productions, workshops and developmental activities. Rentals participating in the Fling program can select from a menu of consultation and select services from Ars Nova’s in-house marketing, general and production management departments, artistic consultation, as well as the opportunity to bill their production as “An Ars Nova Fling” occurring at “Theater 511.”
